Sonnenberg Village
Welcome Center
The Welcome Center is the only building in the Sonnenberg Village that will be built with new materials. It will be styled after the Gillom House [see B&W photo below] and will serve as the information center with the only public restrooms in the village. Visitors will be able to park in the parking lots surrounding the Welcome Center. The Sonnenberg Village received a grant from the Ohio Cultural Facilities Commission in the amount of $200,000. This grant was secured through the assistance of then State Senator Ron Amstutz and State Representative Jim Carmichael. KCHS is required to match the grant before construction can begin. So as always, your financial support for this process is needed.
