Heritage Center Museum
Kidron-Sonnenberg Heritage Center

Kidron-Sonnenberg Heritage Center is a nationally acclaimed museum located on the square in Kidron, Ohio (across from Lehman’s Hardware store). The Heritage Center contains a museum, gift shop, and genealogy research library focusing on Swiss Anabaptist families.

Hours

We are open during the months of April through November. December through March are by appointment only. Visit us Saturdays only from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free!

Sonnenberg Village

The Sonnenberg Village is a 5-acre campus where we maintain and preserve historical buildings and implement sustainable living methods that feature the use of renewable energy, green building technology, and sustainable gardening and landscaping techniques.

Hours

Regular operating hours have not yet been established at the Sonnenberg Village as it is still under construction. People are welcome to park and walk around the Village anytime if they wish.

Rentals

The Welcome Center is available to rent for weddings, reunions and events by calling (330) 857-9111.

We preserve and present the history that makes the Kidron-Sonnenberg area a special place to visit. Tours for bus, church, school and social groups, or anyone else, may be arranged at other times by appointment. Call or write for reservations. Make a plan today to visit our locations.
